I must admit to a deep dark secret. I read, correction, I like those light novels that tell a gripping story and are set in the future or the past or some made up world. I also consider them shortcuts to learning about something new. They allow you to learn in an entertaining way. It was easier for me to understand the period of the Depression, for example, by reading historical novels set in the period. I could read novels written from several points of view to cover all the politics, cultural conditions, and historical facts. Continue reading
