The Great Gatsby Cocktail

image010.jpg@01CE86E9William Grant & Sons, a family-owned distillery representing world-class, award-winning spirits, hosted one of the most-anticipated Tales of the Cocktail parties of the week on Wednesday, July 17 at The Civic Theatre. Themed ‘Cocktails in Film Festival’, inspired by the HEY BARTENDER documentary, the extraordinary evening with approximately 800 attendees celebrated as two crafts became one and two arts born of raw production gave way to an elegant performance. Each spirit partnered with a movie classic for spectacular décor and costuming while the David Higgins Band performed on a suspended stage overlooking the party masterpiece. Charlotte Voisey, internationally-acclaimed celebrity mixologist and WGS Ambassador, played the tuba in a surprise performance that captured the attention and hearts of the entire room.
